Welcome to our new Web Site dedicated to issues relating to the implementation of Lean Construction. We are a working group of the IGLC - the International Group for Lean Construction.
The IGLC, founded in 1993, makes up a network of professionals and researchers in architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) who feel that the practice, education and research of AEC have to be radically renewed in order to respond to the challenges ahead.
The Implementation Group is dedicated to the practical issues of implementing Lean Construction techniques and will act as both a repository of information and a discussion platform. We are interested in learning from both success and failure and as an international group would like to understand the challenges presented by different cultures and political sytems.
This site is open to non-members of the IGLC. Please browse our site and feel free to participate in the discussions.
